astronuts 040

the rocket did everything from a perfect launch and parachute deployment to just crashing back down to earth with no parachute deployment...the best was the last launch with a “b” engine where at 1,000 feet, we saw a puff of smoke high up in the sky and parachute deployment, but 5 seconds later all we saw drifting down was the “body tube” and “fin unit”...then one of “astronuts” shouted “look, over there”...and in the sky at about 100’ feet up drifting quickly of another direction was the parachute carrying the “nose cone”....what had happened was that the elastic “shock cord” that connects and holds the “body tube/ fin unit” to the “nose cone” upon parachute deployment had become detached!… wow! awesome!!!
