In October 2011, I created and organized the 1st annual “What’s Up In Space” Camp. The inspiration for it was the overwhelming interest that many elementary school kids expressed in attending one of our club missions. It was a very successful kids space education event thanks to the many volunteers and “space educators”!
...additional presenter/ participants not listed in our flyer were...
*Paul Fulford, MDA Space Missions Project Manager, Development Programs
*Craig Rice, engineer MDA
* Dr. Elliott Coleshill COM DEV, Mission Development Group
Also many thanks to SPACEX and the Canadian Space Agency for sending educational and promotional give-a-ways and to the-ICEMAN.com for supplying “very spacey” dry ice!
